A couple weeks ago I came across theardorous, an online female artist collective curated by Petra Collins. Above are two beautiful collages done by Emma Dajska, who also happens to be the illustrator for Rookie Mag.
I really loved these two and there is for sure something to be said on how seeing hands and arms pasted on top of stark mountainous terrain can evoke that familiar feeling of placing assertive hands on one's hips or insecurely hugging oneself.
That may or may not have been a run-on sentence.
